The Tary Owens Papers

In 2017, I researched, digitized and created detailed metadata for the Tary Owens Papers, a collection of audio recordings made by an Austin folklorist, song hunter, and record label owner located at the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History. This is a recording of the slide presentation presented on the project in April. I continued to work on the collection through the beginning of September. The remaining items in this collection went on to become the Introduction to Audio Preservation class project the subsequent semester.
