SouthPoP! or the South Austin Museum of Popular Culture is a non-profit community museum focused on the mission of preserving and celebrating the many contributions to popular culture made by residents of the surrounding area. Along the length of the property is a memorial wall that garners tremendous visibility during the Dia de Los Muertos event in November when they induct new members and celebrate their accomplishments. Upon realizing that many of my classmates did not recognize the value of the memorial because they are unfamiliar with many of the individuals featured, I decided to make an interactive epub that highlights some of the more prominent musical icons. The walking tour guide provides brief contextual information, a 30-second clip of a song and links to outside sources for more information.  This guide is helpful as many of the new residents in the area are younger and generally less familiar with the musicians featured in the exhibit.
